In this country, we can’t rely on people in power, the top tier management. They are doing nothing for us. They know nothing. If we want change, we need to bring it ourselves.

Let’s do something. Create something out of nothing. It has happened in the Malaysian independent music scene. Now let it happen for Malaysian film. It’s time for change, a difference, and for that, we must unite.

The west had new waves. It is high time for a Malaysian one. Yasmin Ahmad started something and it is up to the rest of us to follow in her footsteps and finish it.
